"Mission:1"  From 11.1.11 - 11.11.11, the whole United Church of Christ is focused on the mission to feed the hungry and confront food-related injustice.  How is that being done?  By donating to Neighbors in Need, writing letters to Congress, collecting food items.  How is the SONKA area doing that?  By focusing our Fall Gathering on the local mission of feeding the hungry from our churches, in our communities and around the world.  The day will be intermingled with worship, highlighting church hunger-fighting projects with pictures and statements, business, hearing from community and world-wide hunger mission groups, music and fellowship.  It promises to be a very special day that you won't want to miss. 

If you are to be a voting Delegate as a lay person from your church, you'll need to indicate that during registration.  All SONKA authorized clergy are automatically delegates.

Children 12 and under are free.  If Childcare is needed, it has to be signed up for by Oct 28th.
